Magical Owls

I found this delightful applique interpretation of owls in a thrift store/animal shelter giving an old folk-style theme. Surrounded by a turquoise paisley accentuating the owl’s eyes, the hand quilting patterns the yin-yang balance design. The edging patterns of green hues has magical dancing spirit orbs which compliment the owl’s spirit and is cornered by quilted hearts.

A smaller quilt at 48” by 56”, it is backed and generously edged by an organic Indigo cotton sheet from Gaiam with 1/4” backing from Near Sea Naturals. Soft, easy to handle and hand quilted, this gem is one of a kind, signed YaYa07 and economically priced at $250.00.
