Rain Forest was inspired by a young Indian boy, Jessie. He was wanting a red-eyed frog and proceeded to magically reach his hand into a large tub of small pieces of materials and pulled out the center piece, cut out of an old shirt. Then he proceeded to choose the parrots and lizards, and green corners to go with it, on the eve of his Taurus birthday on Earth Day.

So this is a good Earth Day quilt, with lots of bright greens and a good size at 65” by 56.” The back and edging is a sage green organic cotton sheet from Gaiam and the filling is 1/4” organic cotton batting, one layer. All hand quilted creatively around designs, makes it a nice quilt and not too heavy. On of a kind, signed YaYa07, it’s a steal at $550.00. Sorry this item has been donated and is no longer availible.
