Seven Feathers

Seven Feathers is a very strong quilt both physically and spiritually. Havier materials surround the dynamic spiritual animals. A good size at 59" wide by 65" long and a single layer of 1/4" organic cotton batting, it's flexible but a little stiffer with stronger materials. The spiritual earth tones matches the sage backing (organic cotton sheet form Gaiam) which wraps around to make the edging. Lots of hand-quilting surrounding the animals and on the designs makes this quilt durable to feel. Seven embroidered feathers with turquoise beads surround the quilt with embroidered stars at both ends. This is a powerful quilt, made in January (a medicine month on the reservation) and not for everyone. Signed YaYa 07, priced at $800.00
